EmergencyCPR classes provide students with an American Heart Association Completion Card.
Unless other arrangements have been made, classes take place in Oxnard, Ca.

Basic Life Support | HEARTSAVER | HEARTSAVER Pediatric

Basic Life Support

Renewal: $65 | 3 Hours

This course is designed for healthcare professionals caring for patients in and out of the hospital or different healthcare settings. This includes nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and other healthcare and public safety personnel to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. Upon successful course completion, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

At the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Describe the importance of high-quality CPR & impact to survival
  • Apply BSL concepts of the Chain of survival
  • Recognize when someone needs CPR
  • Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, a child, and an infant
  • Demonstrate the appropriate use of an AED
  • Perform as an effective team member during mutirescuer CPR

HEARTSAVER

First Aid | CPR | AED

This course is for anyone who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful course completion, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

At the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Recognize when someone needs CPR
  • Describe how to perform CPR with help from other bystanders
  • Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, child, and infrant
  • Use an AED on an adult and child
  • Help a chocking infant
  • Describe how to help someone with drug overdose emergencies
  • & more!

HEARTSAVER Pediatric

First Aid | CPR | AED

$80 | 6 Hours

The class is designed for anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc. This course teaches students information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Upon successful course completion, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

At the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Recognize when someone needs CPR
  • Describe how to perform CPR with help from other bystanders
  • Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, child, and infrant
  • Use an AED on an adult and child
  • Help a chocking infant
  • Describe when and how to help a chocking adult or child
